ACTIVITIES

Cooking Classes & Pop-up Dinners

Perro Azul is owned by Jim, a Oaxacan Human Rights activist passionated by traditional Oaxacan Cuisine. She likes to pay hommage to the most emblematic dishes of said tradition in their vegetarian version. Want to learn how to make tamales, moles, salsas and more? Classes may be arranged on demand. High end traditional meals and degustations for groups can also be arranged.

Yoga + Massages

To care for your soul and body, individual or group yoga classes can be organized at Perro Azul. Ask Jim for our lovely list of instructors and get ready to get fit!

Mezcal Tasting

Jim's Family has been producing and commercializing mezcal for four generations. Passionated by the tradition of Oaxacan Mezcal, she may take you on a journey/degustation to grasp a scope of the variety of this powerful elixir. Because Mezcal is to be kissed and not drinked, it is the emblematic drink of Perro Azul!

Surf Lessons

Puerto is an exceptional surf spot. Individual or group surf classes may be arranged on demand. Getting into the water early morning or at sunset, learning to catch your wave, making friends and enjoying fun times while exercising is an experience that will undoubtedly steal your heart away!

Dolphin watching + Bioluminescence

Dolphins, turtles and, if you are lucky even whales can be spotted early morning in Puerto's Bays. In addition, several months a year, it is possible to experience bioluminescence, a natural phenomenon that makes plancton glow at night when in contact with human skin. A must-try experience! Individual or group tours can be arranged. Ask Jim, she'll get you the best deals!

Horsebackriding

Jim also holds a French horse-riding teacher diploma. As she owns a few well-trained horses, she might be able to take you on hikes upon availability. Ask her and get ready to be dazzled by the local landscapes!
